It All Points to Jesus

The Days Never Change

A word for group leaders.

It all points to Jesus — and all the material is at no cost to you.

How the days work

The 365 days of this journey never change. Day 1 is always the same reading. Day 2 is always the next one. All the way to Day 365 — this year, next year, every year. The days will not change; only the months and the weeks turn around them.

January 1 falls on a different day of the week every year, and in a leap year there is a grace day besides. So the weeks slowly turn against the months, the way the Earth turns in God's order. One year, a month begins on a Sunday. Another year, it begins in the middle of a week. A weekly review can sit a day or more to one side of the calendar month, and a month can open or close in the middle of a week.

That is not a mistake, and there is nothing to fix. It asks one small thing of a group leader: stay with the day number. The day number is the anchor. If your group follows the days in order — today is this day, tomorrow is the next — you are always in the right place, in any year.

Yearly corrections — free, right here

We keep this journey as clean as we can. If a correction is ever verified — a wrong word, a wrong reference — it will be posted on this page, free, for every group leader. Check here at the start of each year. The readings themselves never change; only our awareness grows.

If you spot something that looks off, write to us at [email protected]. Every note is checked against the printed book and the Bible text before anything changes.

Corrections for the coming year: none posted yet. When one is verified, it will appear here first.

Stay alert — to His love, and to His order. Not once and done — again and again, for eternity. It all points to Jesus.
