THE DANCE OF THE FATHER, SON, AND HOLY SPIRIT
Before there was a world, there was a rhythm of love. The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit moving together in perfect joy, each delighting in the others. When the Bible opens, the Spirit of God is hovering over the waters. God says, “Let us make man in our image.” And John tells us the Word was there from the beginning, that all things were made through him, and the Word became flesh. That is the dance underneath everything you are about to read. Day by day, through the Old Testament, the New Testament, the Psalms, and the Proverbs, you will see the Father speaking and sending, the Son revealing and redeeming, and the Spirit opening eyes and hearts. Read the Scripture first. Then let this companion help you hear the music. You are not reading alone. The moment you open the Word, you step into a rhythm that began before time itself, and you are invited to join the dance. Scripture calls Him the head of the church, the head of the body (Ephesians 1:22; Colossians 1:18), and in Him all things hold together (Colossians 1:17). Jesus is that spine. We must never forget it.
“Holy Spirit, open our hearts to see Christ in all of Scripture.”
February - The Greatest Love
A Month to Discover the Heart of God February is a month when the world talks about love. Cards, flowers, promises, and Valentine's Day remind us that the human heart longs to love and to be loved. But Scripture takes us deeper. Before we ever reached for God, God reached for us. Love begins in His heart. The Father loves. The Son reveals that love and gives Himself for us. The Holy Spirit opens our hearts to receive Christ, draws us into fellowship with God, and teaches us to love one another. This is not three separate stories. It is the one beautiful movement of the living God bringing people into relationship with Himself. January introduced us to the beginning of the story. In February, the relationship deepens. Israel is rescued from Egypt, led through the wilderness, given God's covenant, and invited to live in His presence. The Tabernacle shows God's desire to dwell among His people. The sacrifices and priesthood show that sin is serious and that sinful people need a way to approach a holy God. Then the Gospels bring us face-to-face with Jesus. He teaches, heals, forgives, welcomes, serves, suffers, dies, rises, and calls people to follow Him. The pieces begin to come together: the Deliverer, the bread, the water, the law, the priest, the sacrifice, the Tabernacle, the King - all are drawing our eyes toward Christ. Love Has a Name Biblical love is more than a feeling. We know what love looks like because God has shown us His love in Jesus Christ. At the cross, love is not merely spoken; love gives. Jesus willingly lays down His life for sinners and opens the way for us to come home to the Father. So during Valentine's month, do not settle for a shallow definition of love. Watch the love of God unfold through Scripture. Watch the Father's faithfulness. Watch the Son walk willingly toward the cross. Ask the Holy Spirit to make that love real in your heart - and then allow His love to flow through you toward your spouse, family, church, neighbors, strangers, and even those who are difficult to love. The Relationship Continues Each day, begin with God's Word. The Companion comes second. As you read, keep returning to five questions: How is God revealing Himself? How does this point us to Jesus? How is the Holy Spirit at work? What does this mean for our relationship with God and with one another? How do we live it today? You do not need to understand every detail. Some passages in Exodus and Leviticus may feel unfamiliar. Keep reading. The details are teaching us about holiness, sacrifice, cleansing, worship, forgiveness, and God's desire to dwell with His people. These themes become brighter when we see Jesus. And remember: this journey is not about perfect performance. If you miss a day, begin again. If a passage is difficult, stay with it. Read, listen, ask questions, talk with someone, and keep looking for Jesus. We are not simply trying to finish a Bible. We are learning to know the One to whom the Bible points. A February
Prayer
Father, thank You for loving us and drawing us near. Jesus, thank You for showing us the greatest love by giving Yourself for us. Holy Spirit, open our hearts to see Christ in all of Scripture and teach us to love God and one another. Let Your love become the heartbeat of our lives. Amen. Read the Word. See Jesus. Receive His love. Share His love.
Soli Deo Gloria - For the Glory of God Alone
Week 5 Introduction
Week 5 Theme: Following God’s Presence, Trusting His Provision, and Living Ready for Christ’s Return. This week we journey with Israel as God leads His people through the wilderness, teaches them to trust Him daily, establishes His covenant, and reveals His holy character.

Week 5 Review - The Big Story
As we journeyed through Week 5, we witnessed God faithfully leading His people from Egypt toward Mount Sinai. He made a way through the Red Sea, provided bread from heaven and water from the rock, defeated their enemies, and invited them into a covenant relationship with Himself. Every step revealed that God is holy, faithful, and worthy of complete trust. We also saw God preparing His people to worship Him. The laws, the covenant, the Tabernacle, and the high priest all pointed beyond themselves to a greater reality fulfilled in Jesus Christ. In Matthew, Jesus is the promised Messiah, the Cornerstone rejected by many, the Bridegroom, the coming King, the righteous Judge, and our perfect High Priest. He calls His followers to love God, love others, remain watchful, and faithfully use what God has entrusted to them. God’s plan of redemption has always pointed to Jesus Christ. The God who led Israel now leads His people through Christ. The God who provided manna gives us the Bread of Life. The God who established the covenant welcomes us into the New Covenant through His Son. Everything points to Jesus.

Week 5 - Complete
Soli Deo Gloria
Week 6
Week 6 Introduction
Welcome to Week 6.
This week brings us to the very heart of the Bible’s message: a holy God desires to dwell with His people, but sin separates us from Him. God Himself provides the way back. In Exodus, God prepares the priests and the Tabernacle so He can dwell among Israel. Yet while Moses is on the mountain, the people turn away and worship the golden calf. Their failure is great - but God’s mercy is greater. Then the Tabernacle is completed, and something wonderful happens: The glory of the LORD fills it. In Matthew, we follow Jesus through betrayal, arrest, trial, crucifixion, burial - and finally the empty tomb. Jesus is risen. By the end of the week, Mark takes us back to the beginning of Jesus’ ministry. The promised Savior has come. The kingdom of God is near. The connection is becoming clearer: The God who desired to dwell among His people in the Tabernacle has come to us in Jesus Christ. As you read this week, don’t rush through the details. Watch for God’s holiness, our need for forgiveness, His mercy, and His desire to be with His people. And above all, keep looking for Jesus. This Week We will travel from the Tabernacle to the cross, from the cross to the empty tomb, and from the empty tomb to the proclamation of the Kingdom. Everything is moving toward one glorious truth: It ALL Points to Jesus.
Day 40 - February 7
For the Glory of God Alone
Read First - God’s Word
Read First: Exodus 29:1-30:10 • Matthew 26:14-46 • Psalm 31:19-24 • Proverbs 8:14-26
Understand The Word
Exodus 29; 30:1-10 - A Holy God Makes a Way God gives detailed instructions for setting apart Aaron and his sons as priests. Sacrifices are offered, blood is shed, and the priests are consecrated for service. Why all these details? God is holy, and sinful people cannot simply enter His presence on their own terms. The altar of incense stands before the place of God’s presence. Morning and evening, incense rises before the Lord. Most importantly, God reveals His purpose: He wants to dwell among His people. Matthew 26:14-46 - Jesus Chooses the Cross Judas agrees to betray Jesus. During the Passover meal, Jesus takes bread and wine and points His disciples toward what He is about to do. His body will be given. His blood will be poured out for the forgiveness of sins. Then Jesus enters Gethsemane. Knowing the suffering ahead, He prays: “Not as I will, but as thou wilt.” Jesus does not run from the cross. He willingly obeys His Father. Psalm 31:19-24 - Trust When You Are Afraid David has experienced trouble, fear, and opposition, yet he remembers God’s goodness. His message is simple: Trust the Lord. Be strong. Put your hope in Him. Proverbs 8:14-26 - Wisdom Comes from God True wisdom, counsel, understanding, and strength belong to God. Before creation unfolded, God’s wisdom was already there. We do not create truth. We receive wisdom from the One who created us.
Discover Jesus Today
Today’s readings come together at the altar. In Exodus, sacrifices are continually offered so sinful people can approach a holy God. In Matthew, Jesus prepares to offer Himself. The priests of Exodus needed sacrifices again and again. Jesus would become the perfect sacrifice - once for all. And in Gethsemane we see something else about our Savior: complete surrender to the Father. “Thy will be done.” Jesus went where we could never go and did what we could never do so that we could be brought into God’s presence. The altar points to Jesus. The sacrifice points to Jesus. The priesthood points to Jesus. Forgiveness points to Jesus.
Heart Reflection
1. What does God’s careful preparation of the priests teach me about His holiness?
2. Where in my life do I need to pray as Jesus did, “Thy will be done”? 3. Am I trusting what Jesus has done for me, or am I still trying to make myself acceptable to God?
Fellowship Questions
What does Jesus’ willingness to go to the cross teach us about obedience and love? Listen to one another. Then encourage each other to trust Christ more deeply.
Prayer
Father, You are holy, yet You desire to dwell with Your people. Thank You for making a way for us to come near through Jesus. Lord Jesus, thank You for willingly going to the cross for us. Teach us to trust You and surrender our will to the Father. Holy Spirit, give us wisdom and courage to follow You today. Lord Jesus, help me not only to know Your Word but to live it. Transform my heart so that my life reflects You more each day. Amen.
Live Today
Surrender one thing you have been trying to control to God. Pray simply: “Father, Your will be done.” Then trust Jesus and take the next faithful step.
Day 41 - February 8
Read First - God’s Word
Read First: Exodus 30:11-31:18 • Matthew 26:47-68 • Psalm 32:1-11 • Proverbs 8:27-32
Understand The Word
Exodus 30:11-38; 31 - Set Apart for God God continues His instructions for worship. The basin, anointing oil, and incense remind Israel that approaching a holy God is serious. God also gives Bezalel and Oholiab special skill for building the Tabernacle. Their craftsmanship is not separate from serving God - their abilities are gifts to be used for His glory. God then reminds Israel to keep the Sabbath. Work matters, but so does stopping to remember that everything ultimately depends upon Him. Matthew 26:47-68 - Jesus Is Betrayed Judas arrives with an armed crowd and betrays Jesus with a kiss.
One of Jesus’ followers reaches for a sword, but Jesus refuses to build His Kingdom through violence. He willingly allows Himself to be arrested. False witnesses accuse Him. The religious leaders mock and strike Him. Jesus could have stopped it. Instead, He willingly continues toward the cross. Psalm 32:1-11 - The Joy of Forgiveness David describes the burden of hiding sin and the freedom that comes through confession. What a difference forgiveness makes. We do not have to hide from God. We can come to Him, confess our sin, and receive His mercy. The forgiven heart has reason to rejoice. Proverbs 8:27-32 - Listen to God’s Wisdom God’s wisdom was present when He established creation. Wisdom calls us not merely to hear but to listen and obey. Blessing is found in walking God’s way.
Discover Jesus Today
Exodus shows how carefully people had to prepare to approach God’s presence. Psalm 32 celebrates the blessing of having sin forgiven. Then Matthew shows us how that forgiveness would ultimately become possible. Jesus - the innocent One - is betrayed, accused, struck, and condemned. He willingly moves toward the cross to carry the sin of the guilty. We hide our sin. Jesus came to take it away. Because of Him, forgiveness is not merely something we hope for. It is a gift God offers through Christ. It ALL Points to Jesus.
Heart Reflection
1. Am I hiding anything from God instead of confessing it? 2. What ability has God given me that I can use for His glory? 3. What does Jesus’ willingness to endure betrayal teach me about His love?
Fellowship Questions
Share with someone: How has knowing you are forgiven changed - or how could it change - the way you live? Encourage one another to bring everything honestly before Jesus.
Prayer
Father, thank You for the freedom of forgiveness. Jesus, thank You for willingly suffering to save us. Holy Spirit, help us walk honestly and faithfully with You today. Amen.
Live Today
Stop hiding. Bring one struggle honestly before God today.
Receive His forgiveness, then walk forward with Jesus in freedom.
Day 42 - February 9
Read First - God’s Word
Read First: Exodus 32:1-33:23 • Matthew 26:69-27:14 • Psalm 33:1-11 • Proverbs 8:33-36
Understand The Word
Exodus 32-33 - The Golden Calf While Moses is with God, Israel makes a golden calf and worships it. The people quickly turn from the God who rescued them. Moses intercedes for Israel, and God shows mercy. Moses longs for what matters most: God’s presence with His people. Matthew 26:69-27:14 - Peter Fails; Jesus Remains Faithful Peter denies Jesus three times and weeps bitterly. Judas is overcome with regret after betraying Him. Meanwhile, Jesus stands before Pilate, falsely accused yet remarkably silent. Everyone around Jesus is failing. Jesus remains faithful. Psalm 33:1-11 - God’s Word Stands God created by His Word. Nations make plans, but His purposes cannot be defeated. What God promises, He will accomplish. Proverbs 8:33-36 - Choose Wisdom Wisdom offers a simple choice: listen and find life, or reject God’s way and suffer the consequences. Listen to God and walk His way.
Discover Jesus Today
Today’s readings are filled with human failure. Israel worships an idol. Peter denies Jesus. Judas betrays Him. Religious leaders falsely accuse Him. Yet Jesus remains faithful. Like Moses interceding for Israel, Jesus stands between sinful people and a holy God - but Jesus does far more. He gives His own life to save us. Our failures do not change who Jesus is. He is the faithful Savior we desperately need.
Heart Reflection
1. What can become a “golden calf” in my life - something I put before God? 2. What does Peter’s failure teach me about my need for grace? 3. Where do I need to trust Jesus’ faithfulness today?
Fellowship Questions
Ask one another: How should knowing that Jesus remains faithful change the way we respond when we fail?
Prayer
Father, forgive us when we put other things before You. Jesus, thank You for remaining faithful when we fail. Holy Spirit, keep our hearts close to You. Amen.
Live Today
Put Jesus first in one specific choice today. When you fail, don’t run away from Him. Run to Him.
Day 43 - February 10
Read First - God’s Word
Read First: Exodus 34:1-35:9 • Matthew 27:15-31 • Psalm 33:12-22 • Proverbs 9:1-6
Understand The Word
Exodus 34-35:9 - Mercy and a New Beginning After Israel’s terrible failure, God renews His covenant. He reveals Himself as merciful, gracious, patient, and faithful. Moses’ face shines after being in God’s presence. The people are then invited to give willingly toward the Tabernacle. God’s mercy gives His people another beginning. Matthew 27:15-31 - The Innocent King Condemned Pilate knows Jesus is innocent, yet the crowd chooses Barabbas. Jesus is beaten, mocked, dressed as a king, and given a crown of thorns. The soldiers laugh at Him as “King of the Jews.” They do not understand the truth: Jesus really is the King. Psalm 33:12-22 - Our Hope Is in the Lord Human strength cannot save us. God sees His people, watches over them, and remains faithful. Our hope is not in our own strength. Our hope is in Him. Proverbs 9:1-6 - Wisdom Invites Us Wisdom calls everyone to leave foolishness behind and choose the way of understanding. God invites us to a better way of life.
Discover Jesus Today
Israel deserves judgment, but God shows mercy. Barabbas deserves punishment, but Jesus takes his place. That is a picture of the Gospel. The guilty man goes free while the innocent Jesus is condemned. We are like Barabbas. Jesus took the judgment our sin deserved so we could receive mercy. The crown of thorns points to the King who came to save us.
Heart Reflection
1. Where have I experienced God’s mercy after failure? 2. What does Barabbas teach me about what Jesus did for me? 3. Is my hope resting in Jesus or in my own strength?
Fellowship Questions
Ask one another: What does it mean personally that Jesus took our place?
Prayer
Father, thank You for Your mercy. Jesus, thank You for taking our place. Holy Spirit, help us trust our King and follow Him today. Amen.
Live Today
Remember what grace means: Jesus took your place. Thank Him - and show that same mercy to someone else today.
Day 44 - February 11
Read First - God’s Word
Read First: Exodus 35:10-36:38 • Matthew 27:32-66 • Psalm 34:1-10 • Proverbs 9:7-8
Understand The Word
Exodus 35:10-36 - Willing Hearts Build for God God’s people bring gifts and use their skills to build the Tabernacle. They give so generously that Moses finally tells them to stop. Willing hearts gladly serve God with what He has given them.
Matthew 27:32-66 - Jesus Gives His Life Jesus is nailed to the cross. He is mocked and rejected, yet He remains there until His work is finished. At His death, the curtain in the Temple is torn from top to bottom. Jesus is buried, and the tomb is sealed. It appears to be the end. But Sunday is coming. Psalm 34:1-10 - Taste and See David praises God even during trouble. He invites us to experience God’s goodness for ourselves: “Taste and see that the LORD is good.” Those who seek Him can trust His care. Proverbs 9:7-8 - Be Willing to Learn A wise person accepts correction and grows from it. Wisdom requires a teachable heart.
Discover Jesus Today
Exodus describes people building a place where God would dwell among them. Matthew shows something greater. When Jesus dies, the Temple curtain is torn. The barrier is opened. Through Jesus, we no longer need an earthly Tabernacle or repeated sacrifices to approach God. Jesus has opened the way. The cross looked like defeat. It became the doorway home to God.
Heart Reflection
1. What gifts has God given me that I can use for Him? 2. What does the torn curtain tell me about Jesus? 3. Do I truly believe that God is good even during difficult days?
Fellowship Questions
Ask one another: What does it mean to you that Jesus opened the way to God?
Prayer
Father, thank You for making a way back to You. Jesus, thank You for the cross. Holy Spirit, give us willing and teachable hearts. Amen.
Live Today
Come to God with confidence today. Jesus has opened the way.
You are invited to come near.
Day 45 - February 12
Read First - God’s Word
Read First: Exodus 37:1-38:31 • Matthew 28:1-20 • Psalm 34:11-22 • Proverbs 9:9-10
Understand The Word
Exodus 37-38 - Everything According to God’s Plan The Ark, altar, lampstand, and other parts of the Tabernacle are carefully completed. God had given the instructions, and His people followed them. God provides the way for His people to come near. Matthew 28 - He Is Risen! The women arrive at the tomb and discover that Jesus is not there. He is risen! Jesus appears to His followers and then gives them a mission: go, make disciples, baptize, and teach. And He gives them a promise: “I am with you always.” Psalm 34:11-22 - The Lord Is Near God hears the cries of His people. He does not promise a life without trouble. He promises His presence in the middle of it. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted. Proverbs 9:9-10 - Where Wisdom Begins True wisdom begins with knowing and honoring God. The more we know Him, the more we learn how to live.
Discover Jesus Today
Yesterday the tomb was sealed. Today it is empty. Jesus defeated sin and death. The Tabernacle reminded Israel that God wanted to dwell among His people. Now the risen Jesus promises: “I am with you always.” And because He lives, His followers have a mission: Go and tell others about Him. The story does not end at the empty tomb. It goes out into the world.
Heart Reflection
1. What does the resurrection mean for my hope today? 2. Where do I need to remember that Jesus is with me? 3. Who could I tell about Jesus?
Fellowship Questions
Ask one another: How does knowing that Jesus is alive change the way we live?
Prayer
Father, thank You for raising Jesus from the dead. Jesus, help us live with hope and share Your good news. Holy Spirit, give us courage to follow You. Amen.
Live Today
Jesus is alive - and He is with you. Live with that hope today, and look for one opportunity to share it with someone else.
Day 46 - February 13
Read First - God’s Word
Read First: Exodus 39:1-40:38 • Mark 1:1-28 • Psalm 35:1-16 • Proverbs 9:11-12
Understand The Word
Exodus 39-40 - God Comes to Dwell The Tabernacle is finally completed exactly as God commanded. Then something wonderful happens: The glory of the LORD fills the Tabernacle. God has come to dwell among His people and lead them on their journey. Mark 1:1-28 - The King Has Come Mark wastes no time: “The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.” John prepares the way. Jesus is baptized, tempted, and begins proclaiming God’s Kingdom. He calls ordinary fishermen to follow Him, teaches with authority, and drives out an evil spirit. The promised King has arrived. Psalm 35:1-16 - God, Defend Me David is surrounded by people who oppose him. Instead of taking revenge, he brings his struggle to God. We can trust God with our battles. Proverbs 9:11-12 - Wisdom Has Consequences Our choices matter. Walking in God’s wisdom brings life, while rejecting it carries consequences. Choose God’s way.
Discover Jesus Today
Exodus ends with God’s glory filling the Tabernacle. Then Mark begins by announcing Jesus Christ, the Son of God. The connection is powerful. God desired to dwell among His people. In Jesus, God comes even closer. Jesus doesn’t simply point toward God’s presence. He brings God’s presence to us. And His invitation is beautifully simple: “Follow me.”
Heart Reflection
1. What does God’s desire to dwell with His people teach me about Him? 2. What might Jesus be asking me to leave behind and trust Him with? 3. Am I following Jesus - or merely learning about Him?
Fellowship Questions
Ask one another: What does following Jesus look like in everyday life?
Prayer
Father, thank You for coming near. Jesus, help us follow You faithfully. Holy Spirit, guide our steps and help our lives reflect Christ. Amen.
Live Today
Jesus still says: “Follow me.” Take one simple step today that shows Jesus is leading and you are following.
Week 6 Review
The Big Story
Week 6 begins with God preparing a way to dwell among His people. But almost immediately, Israel turns away and worships the golden calf. Sin breaks fellowship with God. Yet God shows mercy. Then Matthew brings us to Jesus.
He is betrayed, denied, falsely accused, beaten, and crucified. Barabbas - the guilty man - goes free while Jesus, the innocent One, takes his place. At the cross, the Temple curtain is torn. The way to God is opened. Jesus is buried and the tomb is sealed. Then everything changes: He is risen! Exodus ends with God’s glory filling the Tabernacle. Matthew ends with the risen Jesus promising: “I am with you always.” And Mark begins with Jesus Christ, the Son of God, announcing the Kingdom and calling ordinary people: “Follow me.” From the Tabernacle to the cross, from the cross to the empty tomb, and from the empty tomb into our lives: God wants His people near. Jesus made the way. Jesus is alive. Jesus is with us. Jesus calls us to follow Him. It ALL Points to Jesus.

1. What stood out to you most from this week’s readings? 2. Where did you see Jesus most clearly? 3. What does the torn Temple curtain mean for us today? 4. How does the resurrection give you hope in something you are facing? 5. What one change will Jesus see you changing this week?
Fellowship Questions
Share one victory and one struggle from your walk with Jesus this week. Listen without judging. Encourage one another. Pray for one another.
We were never meant to follow Jesus alone.
Week 6 Prayer
Father, thank You for making a way for us to come near. Jesus, thank You for the cross and the empty tomb. Holy Spirit, help us follow Christ faithfully and share His love with others. Amen.
Week 7 Preview
Next week Exodus gives way to Leviticus, where we encounter sacrifices, holiness, clean and unclean, and God’s instructions for approaching Him. Some of these passages may feel unfamiliar or difficult. Don’t get lost in the details. Keep asking: Why is sacrifice necessary? How can sinful people approach a holy God? Where does this point to Jesus? Meanwhile, Mark continues showing Jesus teaching, healing, forgiving, and calling people to follow Him. The answer becomes clearer: What the sacrifices could only point toward, Jesus came to fulfill. Keep reading. Keep looking. It ALL Points to Jesus.
Week 6 Complete
Week 7
Soli Deo Gloria - For the Glory of God Alone
Week 7 Introduction
Welcome to Week 7. This week we enter Leviticus, where God teaches His people about sacrifice, holiness, worship, clean and unclean, and the cost of drawing near to Him. Some of these passages may feel unfamiliar, but they prepare us to understand why we need Jesus. In Mark, Jesus heals the sick, forgives sins, calls sinners, confronts evil, calms storms, raises the dead, and sends His followers into the world. The contrast is powerful: Leviticus shows our need to be made clean; Jesus shows us the One who can make us clean. Do not get lost in every detail. Keep asking the simple question: What does this teach me about God, my need, and Jesus? This Week: We move from sacrifice to forgiveness, from clean and unclean to the healing touch of Jesus, and from fear to faith in the One who has authority over sin, sickness, evil, nature, and death. It ALL Points to Jesus.
Day 47 - February 14
The Sacrifice We Needed
Soli Deo Gloria - For the Glory of God Alone
Read First - God’s Word
Read First: Leviticus 1:1-3:17 • Mark 1:29-2:12 • Psalm 35:17-28 • Proverbs 9:13-18
Understand The Word
Old Testament Leviticus opens with offerings brought before a holy God. The burnt, grain, and peace offerings teach surrender, gratitude, fellowship, and the seriousness of approaching God. A sacrifice without defect points beyond itself to the perfect sacrifice still to come. New Testament Jesus heals the sick, cleanses a man with leprosy, and forgives a paralyzed man. His authority reaches both the body and the soul. When Jesus forgives sins, He shows that He is more than a healer - He has the authority of God. Psalm David cries to God for rescue and justice. Even while surrounded by enemies, he promises to praise the Lord publicly. Proverbs Foolishness can sound inviting, but its path leads to death. Wisdom asks us to look beyond the invitation and see where the road ends.
Discover Jesus Today
The sacrifices of Leviticus prepare us to understand the cross. Jesus is the spotless One who gives Himself for sinners, and He is the One with authority to forgive.

Read First: Leviticus 4:1-5:19 • Mark 2:13-3:6 • Psalm 36:1-12 • Proverbs 10:1-2
Understand The Word
Old Testament The sin and guilt offerings show that sin matters, even when it is unintentional. God provides a way for guilt to be acknowledged and atoned for. Forgiveness is costly, but God Himself provides the way back. New Testament Jesus calls Levi, eats with sinners, and declares that He came for those who know they need a physician. He also shows that mercy is greater than empty rule-keeping and that He is Lord of the Sabbath. Psalm Human sin is dark, but God’s faithful love reaches beyond it. His love, righteousness, and protection are abundant. Proverbs Wisdom brings joy; foolishness brings grief. Righteousness - not wealth - delivers from death.
Discover Jesus Today
Leviticus exposes guilt; Jesus comes directly to guilty people. He does not approve of sin - He calls sinners to Himself so they can be forgiven and changed.

Understand The Word
Old Testament God gives careful instructions for the offerings and for the priests who serve before Him. Worship is not casual because God is holy. Restitution also matters: repentance includes making wrongs right when possible. New Testament Crowds gather around Jesus because His authority is unmistakable. He appoints twelve apostles to be with Him and to be sent out. Opposition grows, yet Jesus makes clear that His work is the work of God’s Kingdom against evil. Psalm Do not be consumed by evildoers. Trust the Lord, delight in Him, commit your way to Him, be still, and wait patiently. Proverbs God sustains the righteous, while laziness leads toward poverty. Diligent hands matter.

Read First: Leviticus 7:28-9:6 • Mark 3:31-4:25 • Psalm 37:12-29 • Proverbs 10:5

Old Testament Aaron and his sons are ordained for priestly service. They are washed, clothed, anointed, and set apart. God is preparing priests to stand before Him on behalf of the people. New Testament Jesus says His true family is made up of those who do God’s will. Through the parable of the soils, He shows that God’s Word must be received deeply so it can take root and bear fruit. The contrast is sobering: God is gracious and near, yet He remains holy. New Testament Jesus teaches that God’s Kingdom grows, calms a violent storm, and frees a man tormented by demons. Wind, waves, and evil spirits obey Him. Nothing is outside His authority. Psalm The righteous speak wisdom and find refuge in the Lord. God rescues those who trust Him. Proverbs

Old Testament God teaches Israel to distinguish between clean and unclean. These laws set His people apart and remind them that holiness reaches into everyday life. New Testament A suffering woman touches Jesus in faith and is healed. Then Jesus raises Jairus’s daughter from death. Uncleanness, sickness, and even death cannot overpower Him. Psalm David feels the crushing weight of sin and suffering. He confesses his need and waits for the Lord, his salvation. Proverbs A wise heart accepts instruction and walks with integrity. Understand The Word
Old Testament Leviticus gives detailed procedures for examining serious skin disease and contamination. The priest must distinguish clean from unclean, protecting both worship and the community. The chapter reminds us how deeply uncleanness disrupts fellowship. New Testament Jesus is rejected in His hometown, yet He continues His mission and sends out the twelve. John the Baptist is killed for speaking truth. Faithfulness to God is not always welcomed by the world. Psalm David recognizes how brief life is and asks God to help him live with wisdom. Week 7 Review
Soli Deo Gloria - For the Glory of God Alone
The Big Story
God wants to dwell with His people, but sin and uncleanness stand in the way. Leviticus begins by showing that approaching a holy God requires sacrifice, cleansing, priesthood, and obedience. Sin is serious, and fellowship with God cannot be treated casually. Then Mark shows Jesus stepping directly into the human condition. He forgives sinners, touches the unclean, heals disease, confronts evil, calms the storm, and raises the dead. Everything the sacrifices and purity laws teach us to long for begins to come into focus in Him. The sacrifices point toward the cross. The priests point toward our perfect High Priest. The clean-and-unclean laws reveal our need for cleansing. And Jesus is the Holy One who does what the law itself could never do: He comes near to sinners and makes them clean. This week the message is simple: we cannot make ourselves clean enough to reach God. God came to us in Jesus.
Finding Jesus This Week
Reflect Together
1. What did Leviticus teach you about God’s holiness? 2. Which action of Jesus in Mark most strengthened your faith? 3. Where do you need to trust Jesus instead of fear? 4. How has this week changed the way you understand the cross? 5. What one change will Jesus see you changing this week?
Fellowship Questions
Share one truth from this week that helped you see Jesus more clearly. Pray for one another to live that truth during the coming week.
Week 7 Prayer
Lord Jesus, thank You for coming near to sinners and making a way for us to be clean before God. Teach us to honor Your holiness, trust Your authority, and follow You faithfully. Let Your Word take root and bear fruit in our lives. Amen.
Week 8 Preview
Next week Leviticus continues to teach us about cleansing, atonement, holiness, and life set apart for God. In Mark, Jesus continues revealing who He is through His teaching, compassion, miracles, and call to discipleship. As you read, watch for the growing question: Who is Jesus, and what does it mean to truly follow Him? Holy Spirit, open our hearts to see Christ in all of Scripture. It ALL Points to Jesus.
Week 8
Soli Deo Gloria - For the Glory of God Alone
Week 8 Introduction — Holy, Set Apart, and Following Jesus
Welcome to Week 8. This week Leviticus brings us deep into God’s call to holiness. We will read about cleansing, the Day of Atonement, holy living, appointed feasts, Sabbath rest, and Jubilee. Some of these passages may feel unfamiliar, but they reveal something essential: a holy God desires to dwell with His people, and sin cannot simply be ignored. Then Mark brings us face-to-face with Jesus. Jesus feeds the hungry, walks on water, heals the sick, challenges human traditions, reveals His glory, welcomes children, and calls His followers to deny themselves and follow Him. Leviticus shows us humanity’s need for cleansing and atonement. Mark shows us the One who came to provide it. As you read this week, don’t become overwhelmed by all the regulations and details. Ask a simpler question: What does this teach me about God’s holiness - and how does it point me toward Jesus? Before each reading, pray.
Day 54 - February 21
Soli Deo Gloria - For the Glory of God Alone
Read First
Read First: Leviticus 14:1-57 • Mark 6:30-56 • Psalm 40:1-10 • Proverbs 10:11-12
Scripture Summary Leviticus 14 - Cleansed and Restored God gives instructions for declaring a person clean after a serious skin disease and restoring that person to the community. Cleansing includes sacrifice, washing, blood, and priestly examination. The details remind us that uncleanness separated people from worship and community - but God provided a way back. Mark 6:30-56 - Jesus Provides, Walks on Water, and Heals Jesus sees a hungry crowd and has compassion on them. With five loaves and two fish, He feeds thousands. Later, the disciples struggle against the wind while Jesus comes to them walking on the water. He tells them not to be afraid. Wherever Jesus goes, people bring the sick to Him, and those who touch Him are healed. Psalm 40:1-10 - He Lifted Me Up David remembers waiting for the Lord and being rescued. God lifts him from the pit, gives him firm footing, and puts a new song in his mouth. David responds by telling others about God’s faithfulness and salvation. Proverbs 10:11-12 - Love Covers The words of the righteous bring life. Hatred creates conflict, while love covers offenses. Discover Jesus
Leviticus shows people who need to be declared clean. Mark shows us Jesus making people whole. The law could identify uncleanness and prescribe the process of restoration. Jesus comes with authority to heal, restore, provide, and save. The disciples see an impossible crowd. Jesus provides. They see an impossible storm. Jesus walks across it. People bring impossible illnesses. Jesus heals. What we cannot accomplish for ourselves, Jesus is able to do. Reflect Where in your life are you trying to handle something by your own strength instead of trusting Jesus? The disciples saw five loaves and two fish. Jesus saw enough. Fellowship What does Jesus’ compassion for the hungry, frightened, and sick teach us about His heart? How can we show that same compassion to someone today?
Prayer
Lord Jesus, thank You for seeing our needs and meeting us with compassion. Help us trust You when what we have seems too small and the storm seems too great. Cleanse our hearts and teach us to follow You. Amen.
Live Today
Bring Jesus what you have - even when it doesn’t seem like enough. Trust Him with the rest.
Day 55 - February 22
Soli Deo Gloria - For the Glory of God Alone
Read First
Read First: Leviticus 15:1-16:28 • Mark 7:1-23 • Psalm 40:11-17 • Proverbs 10:13-14
Scripture Summary Leviticus 15; 16:1-28 - Atonement and Cleansing God teaches Israel about ceremonial uncleanness and then introduces one of the most important days of the year - the Day of Atonement. Once a year, the high priest enters the Most Holy Place. Sacrifices are offered for sin, and the scapegoat symbolically carries the people’s sins away. Sin separates. God provides a way for His people to be cleansed and restored to Him.
Mark 7:1-23 - The Heart of the Problem Religious leaders criticize Jesus’ disciples for not following ceremonial traditions. Jesus exposes the deeper issue. True uncleanness does not begin outside us. It comes from within the human heart. Rules can change outward behavior. We need God to change our hearts. Psalm 40:11-17 - Lord, Come Quickly David is surrounded by trouble and conscious of his own sin. He cries to God for mercy and deliverance. Even in weakness he can say, “The LORD is great!” Proverbs 10:13-14 - Wisdom Stores Knowledge Wisdom is found in those who understand and treasure knowledge. Foolish words, however, lead toward destruction. Discover Jesus The Day of Atonement points powerfully toward Jesus. Israel needed a high priest, a sacrifice, and blood for atonement. The scapegoat pictured sin being carried away. Jesus fulfills what these signs anticipated. He is our perfect High Priest and the sacrifice for our sins. Mark then shows why we need Him. Our deepest problem isn’t simply what surrounds us. It is the sin within us. Jesus didn’t come merely to make us appear religious. He came to cleanse and transform the heart. Reflect It is easy to concentrate on outward appearances. But Jesus looks deeper. What is happening in your heart that you need to bring before Him? Fellowship Why do you think people sometimes find it easier to follow religious traditions than to allow Jesus to change their hearts?
Prayer
Lord Jesus, thank You for carrying our sin and opening the way to God. Cleanse our hearts and help us live from the inside out, becoming more like You. Amen.
Live Today
Don’t settle for simply looking right. Ask Jesus to change what is happening inside your heart.
Day 56 - February 23
Soli Deo Gloria - For the Glory of God Alone
Read First
Read First: Leviticus 16:29-18:30 • Mark 7:24-8:10 • Psalm 41:1-13 • Proverbs 10:15-16
Scripture Summary Leviticus 16:29-34; 17-18 - Life Belongs to God The Day of Atonement becomes a lasting observance for Israel. God teaches that blood represents life and is sacred because He has given it for atonement. God also calls Israel to live differently from the surrounding nations. His people belong to Him, and their lives should reflect His holiness. Mark 7:24-37; 8:1-10 - Compassion Without Boundaries A Gentile woman comes to Jesus asking Him to deliver her daughter. Her persistent faith is rewarded. Jesus also heals a man who cannot hear or speak clearly. Then another enormous crowd becomes hungry. Again Jesus has compassion and feeds thousands. Jesus’ mercy reaches people others might overlook. Psalm 41:1-13 - God Remembers the Weak God blesses those who care for the poor and helpless. David asks for mercy during sickness, opposition, and betrayal. His confidence remains in the Lord. Proverbs 10:15-16 - What Is True Wealth? Material wealth may provide earthly security, but righteous living produces something money cannot buy - life that honors God. Discover Jesus Leviticus tells us: “The life of the body is in its blood.” That prepares us for the cross. Jesus would give His own blood - His life - for us. Mark shows the heart of the Savior who would make that sacrifice. He sees outsiders, the hurting, the disabled, and the hungry. He doesn’t merely notice them. He has compassion on them. The holy God of Leviticus is not distant from suffering humanity. In Jesus, He comes near. Reflect Who are the people around you who are easily overlooked? Would Jesus notice them? How can you? Fellowship Where have you seen Jesus show compassion to someone others might have ignored? How could we follow His example this week?
Prayer
Lord Jesus, thank You for giving Your life for us. Give us eyes to see people as You see them and hearts willing to show Your compassion. Amen.
Live Today
Notice one person you might normally pass by. See them. Listen to them. Show them the love of Christ.
Day 57 - February 24
Soli Deo Gloria - For the Glory of God Alone
Read First
Read First: Leviticus 19:1-20:21 • Mark 8:11-38 • Psalm 42:1-11 • Proverbs 10:17
Scripture Summary Leviticus 19; 20:1-21 - Be Holy Because God Is Holy God calls Israel to live differently because they belong to Him. Holiness reaches into everyday life: honoring parents, caring for the poor, dealing honestly, treating others justly, rejecting false gods, and loving your neighbor. God’s command is clear: “You must be holy because I, the LORD your God, am holy.” Holiness is not merely religious activity. It changes how God’s people live and how they treat others. Mark 8:11-38 - Who Do You Say Jesus Is? The religious leaders demand a miraculous sign, but they fail to recognize the One standing before them. Jesus then asks His disciples the question at the center of the Gospel: “Who do you say I am?” Peter answers, “You are the Messiah.” Jesus explains that He must suffer, be rejected, die, and rise again. Then He tells His followers that discipleship also has a cost: Deny yourself. Take up your cross. Follow Me. Psalm 42:1-11 - Thirsting for God The psalmist longs for God like a deer longs for water. He is discouraged and troubled, yet he speaks truth to his own soul: “Put your hope in God.” Even when God seems distant, hope remains. Proverbs 10:17 - Accept Correction Those who accept correction stay on the path toward life. Refusing correction can lead us - and others - away from it. Discover Jesus Leviticus says: Be holy. Mark shows us the Holy One. Jesus does not simply teach us a better way to live. He calls us to Himself: “Follow Me.” Peter correctly identifies Jesus as the Messiah, but he still doesn’t understand that the Messiah must go to the cross. The road to resurrection passes through sacrifice. And Jesus tells us that following Him means surrendering our lives to Him. Christianity is more than knowing who Jesus is. It is following Him. Reflect Jesus asks: “Who do you say I am?” That question is personal. If Jesus truly is the Messiah, what part of your life still needs to be surrendered to Him? Fellowship What does “deny yourself, take up your cross, and follow Me” look like in ordinary daily life?
Prayer
Lord Jesus, You are the Messiah, the Son of God. Help us surrender ourselves to You, follow You faithfully, and reflect Your holiness in the way we live and love others. Amen.
Live Today
Following Jesus requires more than words. Choose one area today where you will put His way ahead of your own.
Day 58 - February 25
Soli Deo Gloria - For the Glory of God Alone
Read First
Read First: Leviticus 20:22-22:16 • Mark 9:1-29 • Psalm 43:1-5 • Proverbs 10:18
Scripture Summary Leviticus 20:22-27; 21; 22:1-16 - Set Apart for God God repeatedly reminds Israel that He has separated them from the surrounding nations to be His people. The priests carry an especially serious responsibility. Because they serve in God’s presence, they are called to holiness. God is holy, and those who belong to Him are to honor Him. Mark 9:1-29 - Listen to Jesus Peter, James, and John see Jesus transfigured before them. His appearance becomes radiant, and Moses and Elijah appear with Him. Then the Father’s voice declares: “This is my dearly loved Son. Listen to him.” After coming down the mountain, Jesus encounters a desperate father whose son is tormented by an evil spirit. The father cries: “I do believe, but help me overcome my unbelief!” Jesus responds with power and compassion. Psalm 43:1-5 - Send Out Your Light The psalmist asks God for His light and truth to guide him. Though discouraged, he again tells his soul: “Put your hope in God.” Proverbs 10:18 - Don’t Hide Hatred Hatred concealed behind dishonest words is still hatred. God desires truth in our words and hearts. Discover Jesus
Leviticus emphasizes holiness because approaching God is serious. Then Mark gives us a glimpse of who Jesus truly is. The disciples see His glory. Moses represents the Law. Elijah represents the Prophets. But the Father’s command is not: “Listen to Moses.” It is: “Listen to Him.” The Law and the Prophets have been pointing forward. Jesus is here. And when He comes down from the mountain, He meets a struggling father - not with rejection, but with compassion. Even imperfect faith can cry: “Help my unbelief!” Reflect Where are you struggling to trust God? You don’t need to pretend your faith is stronger than it is. Bring your struggle directly to Jesus. Fellowship Why do you think God said “Listen to Him” at the Transfiguration? What is Jesus saying that we especially need to hear today?
Prayer
Lord Jesus, You are God’s beloved Son. Help us listen to You, trust You, and obey You. Where our faith is weak, help our unbelief. Amen.
Live Today
When doubt comes, don’t run away from Jesus. Bring the doubt to Him.
Day 59 - February 26
Soli Deo Gloria - For the Glory of God Alone
Read First
Read First: Leviticus 22:17-23:44 • Mark 9:30-10:12 • Psalm 44:1-8 • Proverbs 10:19
Scripture Summary Leviticus 22:17-33; 23 - God’s Appointed Times Sacrifices offered to God are to be without defect. God then establishes Israel’s appointed festivals, including Passover, the Festival of Unleavened Bread, Firstfruits, the Festival of Harvest, the Day of Atonement, and the Festival of Shelters. Israel’s calendar itself becomes a reminder of God’s salvation, provision, holiness, and faithfulness. Mark 9:30-50; 10:1-12 - Greatness Through Service Jesus again tells His disciples that He will be killed and rise from the dead. Yet the disciples argue about which of them is greatest. Jesus turns their thinking upside down: “Whoever wants to be first must take last place and be the servant of everyone else.” Jesus teaches them to welcome the overlooked, take sin seriously, live at peace, and honor God’s design for marriage. Psalm 44:1-8 - God Gave the Victory Israel remembers what God accomplished for earlier generations. Their victory did not come from their own strength. God gave the victory. Proverbs 10:19 - Fewer Words, Greater Wisdom Too much talk increases the opportunity for sin. Wisdom knows when to stop speaking. Discover Jesus Leviticus describes sacrifices without defect. That points forward to the perfect sacrifice: Jesus. The festivals also tell God’s great rescue story - and many find their fulfillment in Christ. Then Mark shows the perfect Son moving willingly toward the cross while His disciples argue about greatness. Jesus defines greatness differently: Serve. The King of kings came not to chase earthly status but to give Himself for others. Reflect Where are you tempted to seek recognition rather than serve? Jesus shows us another way. Fellowship What would change in our homes, churches, and communities if we truly believed that greatness means serving others?
Prayer
Lord Jesus, thank You for giving Yourself for us. Free us from pride and teach us to serve without needing recognition. Make our lives pleasing to You. Amen.
Live Today
Do one act of service that no one needs to applaud. Serve because Jesus served you.
Day 60 - February 27
Soli Deo Gloria - For the Glory of God Alone
Read First
Read First: Leviticus 24:1-25:46 • Mark 10:13-31 • Psalm 44:9-26 • Proverbs 10:20-21
Scripture Summary Leviticus 24; 25:1-46 - Sabbath and Jubilee God commands that the Tabernacle lamps remain burning and that His holy name be honored. Then He introduces Sabbath years and the Year of Jubilee. The land rests. Property can be restored. People trapped by debt or servitude can receive freedom. God reminds Israel that everything ultimately belongs to Him. Mark 10:13-31 - Receive the Kingdom Like a Child Jesus welcomes children when the disciples try to turn them away. He says God’s Kingdom must be received with childlike trust. Then a wealthy man asks what he must do to inherit eternal life. He has kept many commandments, but his possessions have captured his heart. Jesus lovingly exposes what he cannot surrender. The disciples wonder: “Then who in the world can be saved?” Jesus answers: “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But not with God. Everything is possible with God.” Psalm 44:9-26 - Rise Up and Help Us The psalm changes from remembering past victories to crying out during present suffering. God’s people do not understand what is happening, but they continue calling upon Him: “Rise up! Help us!” Proverbs 10:20-21 - Words That Give Life The words of godly people have great value. Wise words encourage and nourish others. Discover Jesus Jubilee gives us a beautiful picture: Rest. Restoration. Freedom. A fresh beginning. Jesus brings the greater freedom Jubilee anticipated. Then the wealthy man discovers something important. He cannot save himself. Neither can we. Religion cannot save us. Money cannot save us. Good behavior cannot save us. Jesus saves. What is impossible for us is possible with God. Reflect The wealthy man walked away because there was something he would not surrender. Ask yourself: Is anything more important to me than following Jesus? Fellowship What might we need to loosen our grip on so that we can follow Jesus more freely?
Prayer
Lord Jesus, everything we have belongs to You. Help us trust You like children, loosen our grip on temporary things, and follow You with undivided hearts. Amen.
Live Today
Hold your possessions, plans, and achievements with open hands. Hold tightly to Jesus.
Week 8 Review
Soli Deo Gloria - For the Glory of God Alone
The Big Story - The Holy God Comes Near
Week 8 has carried us through some of the deepest themes in Scripture: Cleansing. Atonement. Holiness. Sacrifice. Surrender. Rest. Restoration. At first, Leviticus can seem like a collection of regulations that belong to another time. But when we stand back and look at the whole week, a beautiful picture emerges. It ALL Points to Jesus. God is holy, and sinful humanity cannot simply walk into His presence as though sin does not matter. So God provides a way. There is cleansing for the unclean. There is a priest who approaches God for the people. There is blood for atonement. There is a scapegoat carrying sin away. There are sacrifices without defect. There are appointed feasts reminding Israel of God’s salvation. There is Sabbath rest. And finally, there is Jubilee - freedom, restoration, and a fresh beginning. Then we turn to Mark. And there He is. Jesus. He feeds the hungry. He walks across the storm. He heals the sick. He welcomes outsiders. He reveals what truly makes us unclean - the sin within our hearts. He is revealed in glory on the mountain. He welcomes children. He calls His followers to surrender everything and follow Him. And all the while, Jesus is walking toward Jerusalem and the cross. The sacrifices of Leviticus could never be the end of the story. Jesus is. The priest points toward Him. The sacrifice points toward Him. The blood points toward Him. The scapegoat points toward Him. The feasts point toward Him. The Sabbath points toward Him. Jubilee points toward Him. The entire heartbeat of the week is moving toward Christ. The holy God has come near. And through Jesus, sinners can be cleansed, forgiven, restored, and brought home to God.
Finding Jesus This Week
Heart Reflection
Think back over the week. What did you learn about God’s holiness? What did you learn about your need for Jesus? And perhaps most importantly: Is there anything Jesus is asking you to surrender so that you can follow Him more fully?
Fellowship Questions
1. Which reading helped you see Jesus most clearly this week? 2. How did Leviticus help you understand the cross more deeply? 3. What does God’s holiness teach us about how we should live? 4. Where do you need the freedom, restoration, or fresh beginning pictured by Jubilee? 5. What one change will Jesus see you changing this week?
Prayer
Lord Jesus, thank You for being our Savior, our sacrifice, and our hope. Thank You for carrying our sin and bringing us near to God. Teach us to listen to You, surrender to You, and follow You. Make our lives holy - not to earn Your love, but because we belong to You. Transform our hearts so that our lives reflect You more each day. Amen.
Week 9 Preview
Next week we finish Leviticus and enter Numbers. Israel has been rescued from Egypt. God has established His covenant, given His law, provided the Tabernacle, established the priesthood, and taught His people how to live in His holy presence. Now it is time to move. But the greatest challenge will not be the wilderness around them. It will be the condition of the human heart within them. In Mark, Jesus continues toward the cross, teaching His disciples what His Kingdom truly looks like. God is faithful. People struggle to trust Him. And keep looking for Jesus. The journey through the wilderness is ultimately leading us toward the One who will never fail. WEEK 8 COMPLETE - Days 54-60 • February 21-27 Read the Word. Understand the Word. See Jesus in the Word. Live the Word.
Day 61 - February 28
Redeemed by Another
Soli Deo Gloria - For the Glory of God Alone
Read First
Proverb: Proverbs 10:22. Read God’s Word first. If helpful, listen to a professional Bible reader while following along. Scripture Summary Leviticus 25:47-55 - The Redeemer A poor Israelite could be redeemed by a close relative. Redemption means another pays the price to set someone free. Leviticus 26 - Blessing, Rebellion, and Mercy God promises blessing for obedience and warns of the consequences of rebellion. Yet He also promises mercy when His people return to Him. Leviticus 27:1-13 - What Belongs to God What is dedicated to God is holy and should not be treated casually. Mark 10:32-52 - Jesus Knows Where He Is Going Jesus tells His disciples He will be betrayed, condemned, mocked, killed, and rise again. He came to serve and to give His life as a ransom for many. Blind Bartimaeus receives sight and follows Him. Psalm 45 - The Eternal King This royal psalm ultimately points beyond an earthly ruler toward God’s eternal King. Proverbs 10:22 - The Lord’s Blessing True blessing comes from God. Discover Jesus Leviticus describes someone who cannot free himself but can be redeemed by another. Jesus tells us why He came: to give His life as a ransom for many. Jesus is the Redeemer who pays the price. Reflect Jesus knew the suffering ahead of Him and still walked toward Jerusalem. What does that tell you about His love? Fellowship What does it mean that Jesus came to serve rather than to be served?
Read First: Leviticus 25:47-27:13 • Mark 10:32-52 • Psalm 45:1-17 • Proverbs 10:22
Prayer
Lord Jesus, thank You for walking toward the cross for us and paying the price we could never pay. Help us follow You with grateful hearts. Lord Jesus, help me not only to know Your Word but to live it. Transform my heart so that my life reflects You more each day.
Live Today
You have been redeemed at a great price. Follow Jesus with gratitude.
February Monthly Review
The Greatest Love
The Big Story
February carried us from deliverance through covenant, worship, sacrifice, the cross, resurrection, holiness, cleansing, and redemption. In Exodus, God rescued His people and desired to dwell among them. In Leviticus, He showed that approaching a holy God requires cleansing and sacrifice. In Matthew and Mark, Jesus revealed where the story was going: God Himself had come near. We watched Jesus teach with authority, forgive sins, heal the unclean, calm storms, raise the dead, give Himself at the cross, rise from the grave, and continue calling people to follow Him. By February 28, Jesus is deliberately walking toward Jerusalem and describing His life as a ransom for many. The month’s heartbeat is unmistakable: God’s love does not remain distant. God comes near, makes the way, pays the price, and calls us into relationship. Finding Jesus This Month
Relationship Review
Prayer
Father, thank You for Your faithful love. Jesus, thank You for coming near, giving Yourself for us, and paying the price for our redemption. Holy Spirit, keep opening our hearts to Christ and forming His love in us. Teach us to love You and one another more faithfully. Amen.
March Preview - The Road to the Cross
In March, Leviticus gives way to Numbers and Israel begins moving through the wilderness. The greatest challenge will not simply be the wilderness around them, but the human heart within them. In Mark, the road narrows toward Jerusalem and the cross. We will keep watching the themes of sacrifice, redemption, covenant, trust, and God’s presence converge in Jesus. Keep reading. Keep listening. Keep looking for Christ. It ALL Points to Jesus.
Soli Deo Gloria - For the Glory of God Alone
ABOUT IT ALL POINTS TO JESUS
After two and a half years of reading the Bible every day together, a husband and wife felt the Holy Spirit speak a simple vision. Everyone in the world would read the same portion of Scripture on the same day: Old Testament, New Testament, Psalm, and Proverbs, together seeing how it all points to Jesus. These little monthly volumes are companions for that journey. Read the Word first in your own Bible; then let the summaries, reflections, and questions help you see Christ on every page. They are written for groups gathering around the table and just as much for the one who is alone. If you are by yourself today, you still have a friend in Jesus. Watch the daily reading videos:
Come and see. Bring a friend.
