It All Points to Jesus

The Sacrifice of Jesus

The center of everything — in eight short chapters.

This is a short book about one thing: the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Why was a sacrifice necessary at all? What does His sacred blood mean? What did He actually do — in the garden, on the cross, and on the morning He rose? And why is it essential that we understand it?

Those are not questions for scholars only. They are the questions underneath every other page of this site, underneath every day of the year’s readings. Take the walk slowly — one chapter in a sitting, or one chapter a day for eight days. Every chapter is short, and every chapter ends with one thing to carry with you.

Begin with Chapter 1 — The Wound

Every chapter has a Listen button at the top of its page — press it and the chapter is read aloud to you.
