The Bridegroom and the Bride
Eight days in the Song of Songs — Jesus the Bridegroom, and the church His bride.
The Song of Songs is the Bible’s love poem: a bridegroom and his bride, longing, finding, and delighting in one another. The New Testament lifts that picture up and sets it on Christ — John the Baptist called Jesus the bridegroom, Paul wrote that Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her, and Revelation ends with a wedding. So we read these eight chapters slowly, one a day, and let every line show us how Jesus loves His people.
Walk it in eight days, or sit down and take it in one sitting. It is for anyone — couples often walk it together, hand in hand.
Each day is the same simple pattern: Read the chapter, sit with The Lesson, and Live It out.
Every day has a Listen button at the top of its page — press it and the day is read aloud to you.

A note for parents and leaders
Days 4, 7, and 8 include frank wedding poetry about married love — the Bible’s honest celebration of intimacy inside covenant marriage. Nothing is graphic, but younger readers will do best reading those days with you, talking through what the imagery means: that God designed romantic love as sacred, honorable, and committed — a gift for marriage, worth waiting for and worth protecting.
