The story in children’s words

Job told his friends that God holds the life of every living thing in His hand. He said a cut-down tree has hope, for it can sprout again at the scent of water, and he asked, "If a man dies, will he live again?" Job longed for God to hide him until His anger passed, and then to call, and Job would answer. Eliphaz answered harshly and said the wicked man suffers all his days, but Job would not stop speaking to God. Paul answered Job's question with joyful news about the resurrection. He said a seed must die before it is made alive, and God gives it a new body. The body is sown weak, but it will be raised in power and will never die again. At the last trumpet, the dead will be raised, and death will be swallowed up in victory. Thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
