The story in children’s words

Elihu told Job to stand still and think about the wonderful things God does. God sends the thunder, the lightning, the snow, and the mighty rain. Then, at last, God Himself spoke to Job out of a great storm. He asked, "Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth?" Job had no answer, because God is so much greater and wiser than we are. God showed Job how He cares for the wild animals that no person feeds or tames. Paul wrote that even while our bodies grow weak, God is preparing an eternal glory for us. We walk by faith, not by sight, and one day we will be at home with the Lord. The God who made the whole world has prepared a forever home for us with Jesus.
