- New Testament: GALATIANS 3:10-22
- Psalm: PSALM 61:1-8
- Proverb: PROVERBS 23:17-18
Old Testament
Isaiah celebrates God's victory: He will swallow up death, wipe away tears, and provide a feast for His people. Yet proud hearts still resist His word.
New Testament
Paul explains that the law exposes the curse of sin, but Christ redeemed us by becoming a curse for us.
Psalm
From the end of the earth, the psalmist asks God to lead him to the Rock higher than himself.
Proverb
Do not envy sinners; continue in reverence for the LORD because there is a future hope.
Discover
Isaiah sees death defeated; Galatians tells us how sinners are rescued from the curse. Jesus bears the curse at the cross and opens the future where death and tears do not win.
Reflect
Where do I need the hope of Christ's final victory over death and sorrow?
Fellowship
How does the cross show both the seriousness of sin and the greatness of grace?
Prayer
Jesus, my higher Rock, thank You for bearing the curse and giving me a living hope. Amen.
Live
Carry future hope into one present sorrow.
