Old Testament
Hezekiah brings Assyria's threat before the LORD, and God delivers Jerusalem. Later, Hezekiah's sickness reminds him how dependent every life is on God.
New Testament
Paul calls believers to restore gently, carry one another's burdens, sow to the Spirit, and boast only in the cross of Christ.
Psalm
God hears prayer, forgives sin, and crowns the earth with abundance.
Proverb
A wise child brings joy to a father.
Discover
Hezekiah spreads the threat before God; Paul spreads his confidence at the foot of the cross. Jesus invites us to bring burdens to Him and then help carry the burdens of others.
Reflect
What burden do I need to spread before the Lord instead of carrying alone?
Fellowship
What does gentle restoration look like when another believer stumbles?
Prayer
Lord Jesus, I boast only in Your cross. Carry what is too heavy for me and make me gentle with others. Amen.
Live
Bring one burden to God, then help lighten someone else's.
