It All Points to Jesus

Day 286 · October 13

A devotional for today

Today’s readings

Discover

Discover Jesus The righteous Branch is one of October’s clearest windows to Jesus. Human shepherds fail, but Christ reigns with justice and becomes the righteousness His people could never produce for themselves. Reflect Which failed human shepherd makes me more grateful for Jesus, the righteous Branch? Fellowship Share one truth from today’s reading that helps you see Jesus more clearly. Ask how that truth should change the way you live today.

Prayer

Lord Jesus, keep my heart open to Your Word. Help me trust You, obey You, and reflect Your character today. Amen.

Righteous Branch, shepherd us. Give us listening hearts, holy lives, steady endurance, and hope in Your return. Amen. Week Preview

Week 3 brings false prophets, exile, the new covenant, and the promise that God will write His truth on the heart. First Timothy will show what gospel-shaped church life looks like.

Live

Carry one clear truth from today’s Scripture into one real decision, conversation, or act of obedience.
