Today’s readings

- Proverb: PROVERBS 11:4
Discover
Today's readings are filled with human failure. Israel does not trust God. The religious leaders reject Jesus. Peter denies Him. Psalm 53 reminds us that sin reaches all humanity. Then look at Jesus. While people fail around Him, Jesus remains faithful. Peter's denial is not the end of his story. After the resurrection, Jesus will restore him.
That is the Gospel. We do not come to Jesus because we have never failed. We come because we need a Savior.
Reflect
Israel allowed fear to overcome faith. Peter allowed fear to overcome courage. Where is fear influencing my choices today? And when I fail, do I run away from Jesus - or back to Him?
Fellowship
Talk with someone about this: What does Peter's failure teach us about our need for Jesus?
Prayer
Father, forgive me when fear becomes stronger than my trust in You. When I fail, draw me back to Jesus and remind me that Your mercy is greater than my mistakes. Lord Jesus, help me not only to know Your Word but to live it. Transform my heart so that my life reflects You more each day. Amen.
Live
You may fail. Jesus remains faithful. When you stumble, don't stay down. Turn back to Him and keep walking.
