The story in children’s words

Moses climbed Mount Nebo, and God showed him the whole promised land. Then Moses died, and God Himself buried him. No prophet like Moses had ever lived, because the LORD knew him face to face. Now Joshua became the leader, and God said to him, "Be strong and brave. I will be with you wherever you go." Joshua sent two spies into the city of Jericho, and a woman named Rahab hid them and let them escape by a red cord in her window. Then Jesus told the people to strive to enter through the narrow door. He longed to gather Jerusalem's children together, like a hen gathers her chicks under her wings. Jesus still calls everyone to come in through Him, the one true Door.
