The story in children’s words

Job's friend Eliphaz spoke first. He said no innocent person is ever ruined, and he told Job to seek God, who does great and wonderful things. Eliphaz said the man God corrects is happy, for God wounds but also binds up. Job answered that his sorrow was heavier than the sand of the sea. He felt his friends had become like streams that dry up when travelers need water most. His nights were long and full of tossing, and his days passed without hope. Job cried out to God and asked why God would not pardon his sin. Paul wrote that in the church all things should be done in order, for God is a God of peace, not confusion. He said five words people can understand are better than ten thousand they cannot. Jesus speaks to us so we can understand, and He brings God's peace to His people.
