The story in children’s words
God promised Jerusalem a happy future. "I have come back to Zion, and I will live in the middle of Jerusalem," He said. Old men and women would sit safely in its streets, and boys and girls would play there. God would bring His people home from the east and the west, and He said, "They will be my people, and I will be their God." People from many nations would come looking for the LORD, holding on to His people and saying, "We will go with you, for God is with you." Then John's vision showed seven bowls of God's anger poured out on the earth, with painful sores, darkness, and a great shaking. Still, people would not say sorry or give God glory. Happy are the people whose God is the LORD, for Jesus will bring God's city of truth at last.
