The story in children’s words

In God's tent, lamps burned all night, and fresh bread was set out every Sabbath. God taught His people to honor His name and to be fair with one another. He also gave the land a rest every seventh year. After forty-nine years came a happy fiftieth year called Jubilee. Trumpets blew, people went back to their own land and families, and those who had to serve others were set free. God also said to help a poor brother and not charge him extra money. In the New Testament, people brought little children to Jesus, and He welcomed them and blessed them. A rich man went away sad because he loved his riches more than following Jesus. Jesus said all things are possible with God, and He is the One who gives life forever.
