The story in children’s words

Moses gave God's people many kind and fair rules for their new land. They must help a neighbor whose animal was lost or had fallen down. They must be honest and take care of every person. Then Jesus set His face toward Jerusalem, where He would finish His work. He sent out seventy helpers, two by two, to heal sick people and to tell everyone, "God's kingdom has come near." When one village would not welcome Him, Jesus did not punish them. He came to save people, not to destroy them. Jesus is the kind King who sends His good news to every town.
