The story in children’s words

The last tribes received their shares of the land, and God set apart special safe cities. Anyone who had hurt a person by accident could run to one of these cities and be kept safe there. Then Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a young donkey that no one had ever sat on. The crowds spread their coats on the road and shouted, "Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord!" But when Jesus saw the city up close, He wept over it, because its people did not know the things that bring peace. Then He went into the temple and drove out the people who were buying and selling there, saying, "My house is a house of prayer." Jesus is the King who weeps over the lost and calls them into God's safe place.
