The story in children’s words

A new generation grew up that did not know the LORD or the great things He had done for Israel. Again and again, the people ran after false gods, enemies came and hurt them, and then they cried out to God. Each time, God sent a judge to rescue them, men like Othniel, Ehud, and Shamgar. God never stopped hearing their cries. Then Jesus ate the Passover meal with His twelve friends. He broke the bread and said, "This is my body, which is given for you." He took the cup and said, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you." He also told them that the greatest one is the one who serves others. Jesus gave His own body and blood for us, and He still rescues everyone who cries out to Him.
