The story in children’s words

The work on God's house stopped for a long time, until the prophets Haggai and Zechariah spoke God's words. Then the leaders began building again, and God's eye was on them so no one could stop them. King Darius found King Cyrus's old order and said, "Let the work go on, and help them with all they need." So the house was finished, and the people celebrated with joy and kept the Passover again. Paul said he planted and Apollos watered, but God made things grow. He said no one can lay any foundation except the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. God's people themselves are His temple, and Jesus is the foundation they stand on.
