The story in children’s words

Many years later, Ezra the teacher of God's law traveled from Babylon to Jerusalem. Ezra had set his heart to study God's law, to do it, and to teach it to others. The king gave Ezra silver, gold, and all he asked for, because God's hand was on him. Ezra gathered leaders and helpers for God's house, and God brought them safely together. The psalm sings, "Weeping may stay for the night, but joy comes in the morning," for God turned sorrow into dancing. Paul said God's servants must simply be faithful, and that God's kingdom is not just talk but power. Jesus is the Lord who will come and judge, and His faithful servants wait for His praise.
