The story in children’s words

Job longed to find God and lay his case before Him. "Oh, that I knew where I might find Him!" he said. Job looked east and west, north and south, but he could not see God. Yet he trusted and said, "He knows the way that I take. When He has tried me, I will come out like gold." Job said he had treasured God's words more than his food. He held fast to his honesty and would not let it go until he died. Paul wrote that Jesus Christ was not "Yes and no," but in Him is "Yes." Every promise of God is "Yes" in Christ, and through Him we say "Amen" to God. Paul also told the church to forgive and comfort a sorrowful man, so he would not be swallowed up by too much sorrow. Jesus is God's Yes to every promise, and He fills His people with comfort and forgiveness.
