The story in children’s words
God told Jeremiah to write His words in a book, because the days were coming when He would bring His people back home. "Do not be afraid," God said. "I am with you to save you. I will heal your wounds, and the city will be built again." God said, "I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have drawn you with loving kindness." Rachel wept for her children, but God told her to stop crying, for her children would come back. Paul told Timothy to pray for everyone, even for kings, because God wants all people to be saved. There is one God, and one who stands between God and people: the man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself to pay for us all.
