The story in children’s words

God spoke through Jeremiah against Moab, a proud land that trusted in its riches and its false god Chemosh. Moab had laughed at Israel, so its cities would be broken and its people carried away, though God promised to bring Moab back in the last days. God also judged Ammon and Edom, for no nation is too strong for Him. Paul knew his life on earth was almost over. "I have fought the good fight," he wrote. "I have finished the race. I have kept the faith." A crown of righteousness was waiting for him, and not for him only, but for everyone who longs for Jesus to come. Even when all Paul's friends left him, the Lord stood by him and strengthened him. Jesus stands by His people too, and He will bring us safely into His heavenly kingdom.
