The story in children’s words

God said Babylon's end had come. She had been a golden cup in His hand, but now her soldiers would fall and her land would be emptied, because God was paying her back for all she had done to His temple and His people. "Israel is not forsaken by his God," said the LORD. Flee out of Babylon and be safe, He called. The Maker of the earth by His power is not like the idols, which have no breath in them at all. Paul taught Titus how God's people of every age should live: older and younger, steady, kind, and pure, setting a good example. For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to everyone. We wait for our blessed hope, the appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us to make us His own special people, eager to do good.
