Where might I look alive spiritually while actually becoming sleepy inside? Fellowship Pray for spiritual awakening in your own heart before asking for it in anyone else.
The story in children’s words
God sent no rain, bad crops, and hard times to His people, but again and again they did not return to Him. Amos called out, "Look for the LORD, and you will live!" God hates feasts and songs when His people are unkind to the poor. He wants fairness to roll on like a river, and what is right to flow like a mighty stream. Then Jesus spoke to more churches. He praised Thyatira for love and service, but warned them about a false teacher, and told the faithful to hold on until He comes. He told Sardis, "You seem alive, but you are dead. Wake up!" Jesus promises that those who win will walk with Him in white clothes, and their names will stay in His book of life.
