The story in children’s words
Obadiah spoke God's word against Edom, the people of Esau's family. Edom was proud and lived high in the rocks, and when their brother Jacob's people were in trouble, Edom stood by and was even glad. God said pride had tricked Edom, and He would bring them down, but on Mount Zion there would be people who escaped and were safe. At the end, the kingdom would be the LORD's. Then John saw a door open in heaven and a throne, with a rainbow all around it. Twenty-four elders in white bowed down, threw their crowns before the throne, and sang, "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty." God made all things, and one day His King Jesus will rule the kingdom that is the LORD's forever.
