The story in children’s words
If someone stole something or lied about what they found, God said they must give it all back, and add a little extra too. Then they brought a ram as a gift, and the priest made things right with God, and they were forgiven. The fire on God's altar had to keep burning all the time and never go out. Priests added wood every morning. Great crowds followed Jesus from everywhere, and He healed many sick people. Jesus picked twelve helpers, called apostles, to be with Him and to tell others the good news. Some leaders wrongly said Jesus' power came from the devil, but Jesus showed that was not true. Jesus' power comes from God, and His love never goes out, like the fire on the altar.
It points to Jesus
Jesus is the holy King who calls people first to be with Him and then sends them to serve. Our confidence is not in the chaos
around us but in the Lord who reigns.
Talk about it
Encourage one another with Psalm 37: trust God, do good, and wait for Him.
