The story in children’s words
Every year on the special day, God's people rested and were sorry for their sins, and God cleansed them from all their sins. God also taught that blood is precious, because the life is in the blood. That is why blood was poured on the altar to make people right with God. God told His people not to live the way the people of Egypt and Canaan lived. He said, "I am the LORD your God, so live My way." A woman from another land begged Jesus to heal her little daughter. She trusted Jesus so much that He healed the girl from far away. Jesus also healed a man who could not hear or speak well, and fed four thousand people with seven loaves. Jesus' love is for people of every land.
