The story in children’s words
God promised His people a good land flowing with milk and honey. He said, "I have set you apart to be My own people, so be holy, because I am holy." The priests had to be especially careful to stay clean and holy, because they served at God's altar and handled holy things. Everything about God's house had to be treated with care and respect. One day, Jesus took Peter, James, and John up a high mountain. Suddenly Jesus shone bright and white, and Moses and Elijah talked with Him. A voice from the cloud said, "This is My beloved Son. Listen to Him!" Coming down, Jesus healed a boy whose father cried, "I believe! Help my unbelief!" Jesus is God's beloved Son, and He can do what no one else can do.
