The story in children’s words

God put every tribe of Israel in its own place around His tent. Judah's camp was on the east, Reuben's on the south, Ephraim's on the west, and Dan's on the north. The Levites camped closest to the tent and cared for its holy things. God took the Levites to serve Him in place of the firstborn sons of Israel. In the temple, the leaders asked Jesus hard questions to try to trap Him. Jesus told a story about a vineyard owner who sent servants, and at last sent his beloved son, but the farmers killed the son. Jesus also said to give to Caesar what is Caesar's and to God what is God's. Jesus is the beloved Son God sent last of all, and He is the stone the builders refused that became the most important stone.

It points to Jesus

Discover Jesus Israel camped around God’s presence. Now God’s Son stands among His people - and many reject Him. The rejected Son will become the Cornerstone. Reflect Is Jesus at the center of my life - or simply one part of it? Fellowship What changes when Jesus becomes the center of our decisions and priorities?
