The story in children’s words

Jeremiah's heart hurt as he warned the people, because they would not listen to God or do what is right. An enemy was coming from far away, and the cities would be broken down. Yet even then God said, "I will not make a full end of you." God reminded them that He is the One who set the sand as a edge for the sea, and the waves cannot cross it. Paul said Jesus is the head of the church, and God made peace through the blood of His cross. Once we were far from God, but Jesus brought us near and makes us holy. Paul told the believers to stay rooted in Christ, like a tree planted deep, and to overflow with thanks. Jesus, in whom all wisdom is hidden, is our hope of glory.
